Lefteris Mamatas

Lefteris Mamatas received his Ph.D from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Democritus University of Thrace in Greece. His research interests are focused on network protocols in challenging environments (such as opportunistic networks), energy efficiency in mobile networks and network management. Additionally, Lefteris has worked as a software engineer for many years, using different computer environments (Linux / Unix / Windows). He worked for DoCoMo Eurolabs (Munich) from May to October of 200a5 and June to August of 2006. He was a Research Associate at the University College London (UCL) from April 2008 to November 2009. He participated in several international research projects, such as Ambient Networks (FP7), Autonomic Internet (FP7) and other.
