Eli Katsiri

Dr. Eli Katsiri was a lecturer in Computer Science at the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems, at Birkbeck College, University of London from October 2007 to October 2010. From 2005 to 2007 she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Imperial College London in distributed Software Engineering. Eli has a PhD from Cambridge University's Engineering Department (2005) and she has done research in Cambridge University's Computer Laboratory working on Pervasive Computing (2000-2004). From 1998 to 2000 she worked as a systems analyst in Procter&Gamble, in Belgium. She has also worked as a programmer for Velti dR Ltd in London and Cetrus Inc in CA, USA. Her research is broadly concerned with programming abstractions and models for real-time, efficient management of sensor data.
